I joined flinder in June 2023 after finding the opportunity on LinkedIn, before then I had been working at a local practice. What attracted me to flinder was how well it was run, the way they interacted with everyone, and their strong values. The fact that there is so much focus on training and career progression in the company was really important to me.
So far, my experience has been great! The team are really supportive, and there’s a strong hands-on approach with clients.
I have people I can always lean on for support and it's great to fully understand our clients and how they work.
It’s nice to be able to learn from all the Senior Associates and build strong relationships with them.
The flexible working and hybrid set up works really well for me. I have a lung condition that requires hospital visits, and flinder has been very understanding which is great. The management team are very accommodating and let me manage this effectively.
I really enjoy the socials at flinder, they give us a chance to speak to people we might not usually interact with which is really fun. The ski trip is definitely the highlight!
The founders and senior management are all really approachable and friendly.
Luke is very hands-on and quick to resolve any issues and is really supportive of our studies. You can speak directly to both founders about anything and I don’t think you get that at many companies.
flinder is a really well-rounded company that genuinely pushes you to be your best. I think other companies can be happy for you to just maintain your current role but flinder really wants you to progress which is really motivating!
