Fatima Salhab
Fractional CFO
I had one of smoothest and controlled onboarding experiences. I was onboarded remotely and was concerned how that would go based on previous companies.
There was a lot time invested to make sure, and teach me, the flinder way, how we operate and the expectations of my role.
It gave me the confidence that I'd made the right decision joining flinder.
I really like the vision from Alastair and Luke for flinder and their drive to make that happen. I have a great deal of respect for them and you definitely want to work for someone that you have that level of respect towards. Ultimately, I think that's what attracts people to flinder.
Previously, in my last role, there were limitations on the level of support that I could offer my clients.
Here, I can really get stuck in much deeper to my client's businesses and they can benefit more from me which I think allows me to inhabit the role of a CFO more fully.
The skill level of flinder creates a strong team, allowing us to be right at the front in this space. Working as e-commerce sector leader has given me the opportunity to get involved outside of flinder and give back to the industry. I judged the EU and UK e-commerce awards last year and have been asked to judge again this year, as well as hosting a panel discussion for Digital Accountancy Show.
Bottom line, there's been lots to get my teeth into with flinder and this role and an unending amount of opportunities to grow and learn every day.
